Membership

The EIP membership is comprised of more than 60 countries and organisations from developed and developing countries. The EIP reflects a wide diversity of partnerships and alliances ranging from P2P knowledge and learning hubs, peer learning networks and communities of practice derived from public, private, multilateral and civil society organisations.

Member-led partnerships and alliances facilitate peer learning in different ways, for example through:

  1. peer-based knowledge platforms that are usually driven by an interest or issue appealing to a particular peer group;
  2. peer engagement on a particular topic or problem among a specific group of practitioners which often gathers groups of homogeneous peers and
  3. careful matching between institutions that fill specific functions in the P2P engagement, often on a one on one basis, with a facilitating intermediary involved.

Prospective members can apply for membership in writing to the Secretariat.
