Bangladesh preliminary dialogue

On 2-5th February 2016, the EIP facilitated the Preliminary Dialogue in Bangladesh on the use of and strengthening of Country Systems. The three day dialogue provided high level visibility to the initiative and generated renewed commitment from the Government and the donor community. 60 representatives from development agencies and across Government participated in the dialogue, which was closed by the Minister of Finance.
The EIP will prepare an in-depth analysis of the priorities discussed which will inform the next phase of the initiative. During a high level Country Dialogue to be held in May 2016, concrete steps for improvement will be discussed and endorsed in a road map.
